Palm Beach's Rising Property Values Signal a Market Still on the Move

New preliminary estimates from the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser's office confirm what continues to define this market: sustained, meaningful growth in property values across the island.

The town's total estimated market value rose 5.67% year over year, reaching approximately $59.26 billion. That marks a larger increase than last year's estimate and reflects an additional $3.18 billion in value that could be added to the town's 2026 tax roll. Looking at residential properties alone, including single-family homes, condominiums, and multi-family buildings, estimated values climbed from $49.14 billion to $51.36 billion.

The broader context is what makes this year's figures especially notable. Since the onset of the pandemic in 2020, Palm Beach's estimated property market values have more than doubled, a trajectory few other markets in the country have matched. What began as a $24.7 billion valuation six years ago has grown into one of the most resilient luxury real estate markets in Florida.

Countywide, estimated market values rose 4.38%, underscoring that while growth is happening across Palm Beach County, the island itself continues to command a distinct position within that trend.

These figures arrive as Florida voters prepare to weigh in this November on a proposed constitutional amendment that would expand homestead exemptions and adjust assessment caps statewide. Regardless of the outcome, the preliminary estimates released this month will serve as the foundation for how municipalities, including Palm Beach, approach budgeting and tax rates heading into the fall.

For property owners and prospective buyers alike, these numbers reinforce a market defined by consistency. Palm Beach continues to hold its position as one of the most sought-after addresses in the country, and value growth of this nature speaks directly to the enduring demand we see across our own listings.
